The United Kingdom Alliance of Professional Teachers of Dancing (UKA) is one of the premier organisations in the UK providing student and teacher assessment and qualification programmes designed at helping, encouraging and supporting dance teachers, drama and exercise (in all disciplines). The purpose of this support is to offer help to establish and develop their business thus enhancing the level and status of dance which includes salsa.

More and more Salsa teachers are turning to what we see is an essential qualification necessary to provide quality and safe salsa courses, classes, parties and events.

Basil Pinnock is a qualified member of the UKA at the higher 'Licentiate' level and is committed to developing its existing teaching team to a point where all it's teachers are UKA qualified.
